Alicia Malone

Alicia was required to use the FilmStruck service. FilmStruck is a TCM streaming online platform in 2015. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone in order to practice speaking them out loud in front of the camera prior to her TCM broadcast host audition. Malone auditioned to be considered for a Turner Classic Movies hosting position. They tapped her for the position in from January of the next year. Malone addressed the issues that females face in the film industry in two distinct TEDx events. Maree Malone has also appeared on several other shows, including the Today program on NPR's The Movies documentary series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight (ET) MTV and ABC's 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar preview. Malone also co-created and hosted for the YouTube series Indie Movie Guide, which was created by Fandango.
