Maggie Grace was born Margaret Grace Denig, September 21 in 1983. She is an American Actress best known as Shannon Rutherford in ABC TV show Lost. After her parents' divorce the actress left Worthington in Ohio and moved with her family in Los Angeles. Her first role came to her, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. Her performance as Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder, in the television film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. In 2004 Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television series Lost on which she was a main cast member for the first two seasons, and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was a co-star together with Tom Welling on The Fog in 2005, was looking to go into the world of film.
